Answer #1

Answer: Meta-synthesis is a technique that has an interpretive, rather than aggregating, intent, in contrast to a meta-analysis of quantitative studies as it is a kind of attempts to integrate results from different but interrelated qualitative studies whereas, a meta-analysis is a form of analysis used in which the combination of results are summarised from different reports into one report to make it as a single report which is more precise estimate of an effect. The main purpose of meta-analysis are mainly to increase statistical power and also to deal with the differences when particular studies are not accepted by few. It also improves estimates of the size of effect as it includes qualitative research.
