The guaranteed payout of your trust is $25,000. What is that money worth to you today, if you assume an annual inflation rate of 3% compounded annually?

Future Value = Present Value*((1+r)^t)
where r is the interest rate that is 3% and t is the time period that is 9 years.
The future value is $25000.
25000 = Present value*((1.03)^9)
Present value = 25000/(1.304773)
Present value = 19160.42.
The money is worth $19160.42 to you today.
