In 2016, residents of Great Britain voted to leave (exit) the European Union by April 1, 2019. Do you feel that Britain’s forthcoming exit from the EU is a good thing? Form an argument to justify your position on this issue.

I don’t feel that Britain’s forthcoming exit from the EU is a good thing, it has been already very bad and thus it was a bad decision. It is because of the following:

•    Sterling had hit the 31-year low against the dollar after the referendum.
•     The number of jobs advertised has plunged.
•     Corporations are stopping or cancelling investments
•     The stock market has plummeted markedly.
•     Property values in London have plunged.
•     Science funding has also been hurt, while lots of projects cancelled.
