Most students today use Internet search engines such as Yahoo or Google. Efficient use of a search engine requires some knowledge of the connectives AND, OR, and NOT. One common type of advanced search is called a Boolean search (see Historical Note). With a Boolean search you can increase the accuracy of your search by specifying relationships among the keywords and phrases. The operator AND tells the search engine to search for all documents that contain both words, for example, "sports AND baseball." Go online and explore the connectives AND, OR, and NOT Explain your findings.
