The lie rod is used to support this overhang at the entrance of a building. If it is pin connected to the building wall at A and to the center of the overhang B, determine if the force in the rod will increase, decrease, or remain the same if (a) the support at A is moved to a lower position D, and (b) the support at B is moved to the outer position C.
