In Fig. 2, consider shaft B together with gears 2 and 3 as the free body. Determine the tooth forces for these gears based on the horsepower. Draw a top view of shaft B and show all horizontal loads and reactions. Draw an elevation of shaft B and show all vertical loads and reactions. Pd = 6; φ = 20°.
