The dam break program requires large Manning "n" values in the reservoir for stability at the junction nodes. To eliminate the large change in cross-sections at the junction nodes, modify subroutine LOOKUP to interpolate cross-section values along the length of the channel. Assume each cross-section is representative of channel (J) at node 1 and at the last node (N) of the upstream channel (J - 1). No interpolation will be required for the last channel above the reservoir and for the last channel downstream of the dam.
