Displaying the Simson Lines of a Triangle Using Sketchpad, construct ΔABC, its circumcircle, and a point G on that circumcircle. Then follow these steps:

[1] Construct the lines containing two sides of the triangle and construct the perpendiculars from G to those two lines, selecting the points of intersection H and I between the perpendiculars and lines containing the sides. Hide the lines.

[2] Construct the line (the Simson Line with respect to G).

[3] Select and choose Trace under DISPLAY. Select G and the circumcircle on which it lies, and choose Animate, checking the items Once, and Quickly.
