What makes a polygon regular or irregular? pg. 65 How can the measure of a vertex angle for a regular polygon be found? pg. 65

Reference:

Regular polygons are polygons in which all sides have the same length and all vertex angles have the same measure. Polygons that are not regular are called irregular polygons. Squares and equilateral triangles are examples of regular polygons. An equilateral triangle, a square, and three other regular polygons are shown in Figure 2.9.

The tick marks on the sides of the polygons indicate that the sides are equal in length. Within a given polygon, two sides marked with the same number of tick marks have the same length.

A regular n-gon has n angles. Because the sum of the measures of the vertex angles of an n-gon is (n - 2)180° and all vertex angles are the same size, the measure of any one of the vertex angles in a regular n-gon must be
