Many logic puzz1es give pieces of information about a group of people, and by putting all the information together, you are to identify the people being described. For Example, a puzzle may start by saying that there are five friends and you are to determine who has the following occupations: pilot, bassoon player, stand-up comic, wine taster, and baker. You are given various pieces of information such as: (a) Bree attended the play but not with Lynette or the wine taster. (b) Edie, Bree, and the pilot saw the play last night. (c) Neither Lynette nor Susan is a musician. And so forth.

One way to solve such a puzzle is to make a table and place Xs at places in the table where you can rule out a person's occupation. For Example, statement (b) allows us to eliminate Bree and Edie as the pilot.

Perform a search on the Internet for similar logic puzzles and solve some. Then try to make up a puzzle of your own.
