Al Qaeda attacks on the United States. An article in Studies in Conflict&Terrorism (Vol. 29, 2006) conducted an empirical analysis of incidents involving suicide terrorist attacks. The data in the table that follows are the number of individual suicide bombings or attacks for each in a sample of 21 incidents involving an attack against the United States by the Al Qaeda terrorist group. (For example, the infamous September 11, 2001, Al Qaeda attack involved four separate attacks with hijacked airplanes: Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center towers, one battered into the Pentagon, and a fourth plane shattered in a field in Pennsylvania.) Summarize the data (saved in the ALQAEDA file) with a dot plot. Interpret the results.
