Design a longitudinal-serpentine chlorine contact chamber for a design flow of 38,400 m³/d. The required t₁₀ to achieve a Ct of 165 is 82.8 min. Assume that Figure 10-12 applies and that the design criterion is a performance t₁₀/t₀ = 0.8. Use H = 3 W for the height estimate.
