Let X = 0.05 in., 0.1 in., 0.2 in., 0.3 in., and 0.5 in., where X represents the various depths of the implant beneath the bony surface. Rectangular elements are used in the finite element model shown in Figure P7–19. Assume the thickness of each element to be t = 0.25 in.
