Bézier curves are smooth curves specified by a small set of values and are important in computer graphics. Pierre Bézier, who worked in the automotive industry in France, introduced them in the 1960s. You can create an approximation to a Bézier curve by using an angle and several lines. Begin by using a straightedge to draw any. Mark off 10 equal lengths along labeling the points 1 to 10 from B toward A. Using the same length, mark off 10 equal lengths along  labeling the points 10 to 1 from B toward C. Use a straightedge to connect each pair of points labeled with the same number. The “ghost” of a curve will appear inside the angle; this is the approximation to a Bézier curve. Use the method just described to create approximations to Bézier curves by starting with a 45° angle, a 90° angle, and a 120° angle.
