This project continues over Chapters 11 and 12. We will enhance the database and create Handlebars templates in this chapter. The rest of the programming will be in the following chapter.
Monitoring a power consumption of a collection of plants: We will build on our previous app, which was used to monitor only one plant. Our database server version allows us to store data for multiple plants. Let us enhance the database to also include the map coordinates of each plant. We will create an app modeled after Explorador that allows us to search for different plants based on their IDs or location using a map. Once we pick a plant from this search we will have the four options as before
i. An option and corresponding page to allow you to change the basic information about the plant.
ii. An option and corresponding page to enter data—power consumed.
iii. An option and corresponding page to graph the data.
iv. An option and corresponding page to make recommendations based on the values of power consumption.
