Age of a Tire Every automobile tire manufactured since the year 2000 has a Tire Identification Number imprinted on its sidewall. The TIN consists of the letters DOT followed by 10, 11, or 12 letters and/or digits. The last four characters are digits identifying the date when the tire was manufactured. The first two of those ending digits identify the year and the last two ending digits identify the week during that year. For instance, if the last four digits of the TIN are 1135, the tire was manufactured during the 35th week of 2011. If the last four digits of the TIN are 0822, the tire was manufactured during the 22nd week of 2008. Write a program that allows the user to enter the last four digits of a Tire Identification Number and then tells when the tire was manufactured. See Fig. 4.37. Note: The number of the week should be displayed followed by “st”, “nd”, or “rd” as appropriate.
