Consider two M/G/1 queues with exponential service times in the first queue and gamma service times in the second, but with the same mean service time. Discuss problems of synchronization of the random numbers in implementing CRN to compare these two queues on the basis, say, of the expected average delay of the first 100 customers given empty and idle initial conditions.
