Alcohol abuse:
It is generally excessive use of alcohol while doing day to day activity and potentially hazardous behavior such as driving while under consumption. Also continued use of alcohol while fully aware of the social, psychological, and occupational or health problems related to it is called alcohol abuse.
Alcohol dependence:
It includes severe form of alcohol abuse substantially marked by the excessive need for increased amount of consumption each time. Person would show various withdrawal symptoms when unable to consume satisfactory quantity of alcohol directly denoting alcohol dependency.
