we have sample size n = 23

degree of freedom = n-1

setting n = 23, we get

degree of freedom = n-1 = 23-1 = 22

It is a right tailed test, so we will have only one value for t critical.

Now, looking for 0.01 (one tailed) in top most row in t table and finding 22 in the left most column (degree of freedom)

we have to select the intersection of row and column from the t table, we get

t critical value = 2.508 (rounded to nearest thousands)

Since it is right tailed hypothesis, so any value greater than 2.508 will result in rejection of null hypothesis.

Option B is correct answer
