Answer #1

Solution :

Given that,

Using standard normal table ,

(a)

z = 0.16

P(z < 0.16) = 0.5636

The area to the left of z = 0.16 is 0.5636

(b)

z = -1.28

P(z < -1.28) = 0.1003

The area to the left of z = -1.28 is 0.1003

(c)

z = -0.51

P(z < -0.51) = 0.305

The area to the left of z = -0.51 is 0.305

(d)

z = -0.07

P(z < -0.07) = 0.4721

The area to the left of z = -0.07 is 0.4721
