The probability that a randomly selected medical student who took the test had a total score that was more than 529 is 0.0031

=> P(X > 529) = P((X-mean)/sd > (529-500)/10.6)
= P(Z > 2.7358)
= 1 - P(Z < 2.7358)
= 1 - 0.9969
= 0.0031
