mean = = 500

standard deviation = = 10.4

P(x > 530) = 1 - P(x < 530)

= 1 - P[(x - ) / < (530 - 500) / 10.4)

= 1 - P(z < 2.88)

= 1 - 0.998

0.0020

The probability that a randomly selected medical student who took the test had a total score that was more than 530 is 0.0020
