oxidation :

MnO2 + 2H2O ----> MnO4- + 3e- + 4 H+

REDUCTION:

Ag+ + e- ---> Ag

overall reaction:

MnO2 + 3Ag+ + 2H2O ----> MnO4- + 3Ag + 4H+
