Answer #1

Joint venture

One issue to consider in the JV is that will company names, trademarks, patents or know-how be transferred to the JV.

Sales strategy

Inflation in Argentina is rampant and  Argentine peso has lost more than 40% of its value against the US dollar. The combination of inflation and public spending cuts means wages are not keeping pace with prices, making most people poorer.

So sales strategy should ensure the price of the product should not be exorbitantly high. Since the economy is not in a good shape, Government of Argentina may not be able to spend too much. We may cut down on one or two features but ensure price is not too high.

Japanese national

The person keeps quiet might be due to cultural differences. He is not very sure as to how one should conduct himself in a meeting in a different country/culture.
