Measures help to reduce central line infection are

A. Rigorous attention to hand hygiene and sterile techniques.

The hand is the root cause of infection so, by keeping attention on hand hygiene we can reduce the risk of infection dramatically. Sterile techniques also help to prevent infection.

B. Use of more effective sterilizing agents.

The effecting sterilizing agent is safer and kills most of the surface bacteria.

C. Stop the line if needed is not have any effect on infection prevention. So, it's not a point for the reduction of infection, but removing the central line if it is not needed anymore is to reduce the risk of CLABSI.

D. Involvement of senior leadership.

leadership is very necessary to guide or educate the juniors in the right way.

E. Adoption of the new design of the central line catheter.

It has not a great effect but we can say it can help somewhat in terms of reducing infection. As example Closed hub of the central line.
