Answer: The patient having serum sodium level up to 145mmol/L is considered to be common. But in the case, patient having more serum sodium level such as 160 or 165 shows the Hypernatremia.

Similarly, if patient having serum osmolality more than 330 mOsm/kg reveals that the patient has mental obtundation. Patient might be suffering from ketoacidosis.
