Answer #1
force = mass * g =
mass = 30*10*2 = 600
mass = 600000kg
bottom
weight = 58.86* 10^5 N

b.
each end integral pg *h *dh *x = 1000*9.81 * 30* 2 = 588600 N

c.
each side ntegral pg *h *dh *x = 196200N

Answer #2
On each end and side, the average water depth is (1.5/2) = 0.75m.
The end area underwater is (10 x 1.5) = 15m^2. The side area underwater is (30 x 1.5) = 45m^2.
Thus the pressure on the ends is (.75 x 1,000) x 15m^2, = 11,250N., or 11.25KN.
The pressure on the sides is (.75 x 1,000) x 45m^2, = 33,750N., or 33.75KN.

The pressure on the bottom is (1.5 x 1000) x (30 x 10) = 450,000N., or 450KN.??
