For the city of Tehran, Iran, what is the city's contemporary form, size, and/or growth pattern of the city and what are the important challenges that it currently faces.
tehran is one of the largest metro politan city of middle east, It is ranked 29th in the world by the population of its metropolitan area. it is capital of Iran with a population of around 8.4 million in the city and 15 million in the larger metropolitan area of Greater Tehran. it is the most populous city in Iran and Western Asia. The majority of the population of Tehran speak Persian.roughly 99% of the population understand and speak Persian, but there are large populations of other ethno-linguistic groups who live in Tehran but speak Persian as a second language. tehran is the focused economic hub of iran with almost 30% of Iran's public-sector workforce and 45% of its large industrial firms located in the city. as per data almost half of them are employed by the government. not a lot of foreign companies are located in tehran due to the governments complex international relation. But prior to the 1979 Revolution, many foreign companies were active in Iran. the major industries which accounts for most of the revenue are manufacturing of automobiles, electronics and electrical equipment, weaponry, textiles, sugar, cement, and chemical products. the city is also famous for carpets and furniture.

Question 4 (Optimal city size) Consider a reduced form version of the model above. There are L people in each city. Output per person is qLSand there is a coordination cost per person of bL2 Thus the total amount each person gets to eat after paying for the coordination cost is y qLS -bl2. Assume that q > 0 and b > 0. This question is about optimal city size. 4.1) What sort of things does the coordination cost term...
