The bill includes-an old age pension program
-unemployement insurance funded by employers
-health insurance for the people in financial distress
-financial assistance for widows with children
-financial assistance for disabled individuals
-Medicare is federal program which provides health coverage after the age of 65 years with severe disability and not related to the income of the person.Medicaid is a state and federal program which provides health coverage for only low income people.
purposes of medicare:confined to outpatient services,covers some procedures such as x-ray,nursing care and some medical equipment like walkers and prescribed drug cost coverage
purposes of medicaid:family planning care,prescribed drug cost,inpatient/outpatient hospital services,pediatric services,mental health services, occupational,speech and physical therapies and dental health care.
