In your own words explain if you feel that social media has an impact on a person's mental health? Why or why not?

Social media has an impact on person's mental health because different persons use it in different ways. so it has a positive and negative effect on humans behaviour. Basically human beings are socially interacting group, so they need stong bonds with relatives and friends etc. Now a days people using Facebook, Whats App, Instagram, Twitter, Snap chat, You Tube etc. as a part of their daily rutine.

It having some good effect in life, if we are using it for limited time each day. It helps to find new friends, to know job opportunity, communicate with friends and family, express their talent and earn money. usually it can reduce some sort of mental pressure and stress. If we use it in limited time for videocalling in our family, talking to our friends and gaining knowledge on what is going on around as and in the world. Use it to share positive ideas, videos and image which help to reduce stress of others.

Adverse effect is people get addicted to it and their thought process differs. if they cant connect to social media for several hours they get irritated. Such people shows some violent behaviur and suicidal thought. In some cases, people get inferiority complex because they watch manipulated things and they comapred with their life .Such people may get depression, anxiety and lonliness. They feel isolated and starts to deveop fear on their mind.

Conclusion : Social media has a positive and negative effect on mental health of human beings, usually depends on for what and how they use it.
