His overall physical history is negative for disease, and he hikes frequently in this climate. After his hike, he headed home but had to stop and call 911. He became disoriented, tachycardic, and when reaching the hospital had a blood pressure of 90/50.

The patient shows symptoms associated with dehydration like disorientation, tachycardia and severe hypotension.A very high temperature exposure continuously for three hours has lead to loss of fluid leading to decrease in blood volume resulting in hypotension to combat this the heart rate is increased.Loss of electrolyte due to fluid deficiency has lead to disorientation. This can be also categorized under heat exhaustion or as heat stroke.
