when left hand wire is brought in contact with positively charged rod then charge is transferred from rod to wire by induction and wire is positively charged and positive charge kept in between feels electric force due to electric field generated by wire which pushes the charge article towards right wire
when two negatively charged rods with equal charge are touched to two wires then wires get negatively charged by induction and positive charge experience electric force that is equal and opposite to each other so net force on charge is zero and it stays in equilibrium at center.
please rate it up thanks :)

What is meant when you say that two objects have like charges How do we tell that objects "like charges" How do we make objects with like charges Two objects are observed attract What do we know and what do we NOT know about them Your are given a piece of material. Propose an experiment or a series of experiments to determine if the material is a conductor or an insulator. State clearly what the outcome of each experiment will...
Problem 2 (9) Use kinetic theory of gasses to explain the following: a) As a glass of water evaporates, what happens to the temperature of the water? b) As a water vapor condenses onto a surface, what happens to the temperature of the vapor? c) As a solid sublimates, what happens to the temperature of the solid? Problem 3 [6] a) 15g of helium at 298K is equivalent to how many moles? molecules? volume? b) 15g of water at 298K...
