  • Comfort.
  • No specific visitation timings
  • You don't need to pay hospital stay.
  • You dont need to follow hospital protocols.

DISADVANTAGES :

  • Following aseptic technique.
  • Basic pain management at home
  • care of wound / IV line.
  • Extra precaution while having bath.
  • Time consuming.

B. POSSIBLE DIFFICULTIES :

  • Dry mouth is very common.
  • Stress.
  • Hypoglycemia in long term.
  • Controlling your cravings.
  • Depression

Handling holidays and special occassions that involve specially foods will be difficult, however one must understand that it is the social interaction and sharing of love and moments that matters. It is always best to not look at food or be anywhere near it as you are already getting all the nutrition through TPN.
