Ans.1.) Visual acuity test is a measure of the ability of the eye to distinguish shapes and the details of objects at a given distance. It is conducted without spectacles. Hence, it does not matter whether the corrective lenses are with patient or not.

2.) If you have 20–60 vision in both eyes is quite bad. To console the patient, at first doctor has to tell him/her that it is curable by putting corrective lenses with appropriate power.

3.) In the mentioned situation, i would instruct the patient to be more cooperative and focused during the test to examine his/her eyes properly.
