We make many decisions throughout our day based on probability. What is an example of something from your daily life that you choose based on how likely it will happen? How would the probability need to change for you to make a different decision? 1. Hypothesis testing is based on the idea that if there is enough of a difference between your experimental sample and the comparison distribution, you can see the research supports your hypothesis. Describe an experiment in which you would expect there to be a very small difference between the experimental sample and the comparison distribution. How small of a difference could there be for you to till be okay with rejecting the mull hypothesis? 2. Create an experiment which would use a dependent t-test to investigate race differences and relations and in society. How does your experiment investigate this topic? Why would yalu use a dependent ttest in this scenario and not an independent? 3. You have been hired as a consultant for technology company. Create a study which would look into ways that would increase productivity for this company using a one-way ANOVA. What is your IV? What is your DV? Daily life -

Probability that it will rain today.
We arrive at the chance of whether it will rain today and if I must take the take my rain coat along with me to college.

This probability changes depending on different factors.
- The weather condition when I am about to leave for college.
If it is bright and sunny,then the chance of rain are less.
But if is cloudy it more.
On the other hand if rain last evening or the night, then chance of rain today increases.
Also if the nearby places have reported rain, then the chance of rain is high.
