initial velocity , v0 = 18.8 m/s i

accelration , a = - 3.64 m/s^2 i

at t = 1.98 s

the position , s = v0 * t + 0.5 * a * t^2

s = 18.8 i * 1.98 - 0.5 * 3.64 i * 1.98^2

s = 30.1 m i

the magnitude of position , |s| = 30.1 m

direction is to the east

the final velocity , v = v0 + a * t

v = 18.8 i - 3.64 * 1.98 i

v = 11.6 i m/s

the magnitude of velocity is 11.6 m

the direction of velocity is to the East
