From the given data it is known that, 50 ml of solution gets infused in 1 hour, here the total volume is 750 ml,
Hence 750 / 50 = 15.

There the total infusion take 15 hours to get completely infused.

Here the ordered dose is 1 gm of drug in 250 ml of solution

But the available supply is 500 mg in 10 ml of sterile water.
Hence we need to mix 20 ml to get the value of 1 gm of the drug.

After mixing the D5W with the sterile water the volume become 270 ml
Here the drop factor is 10 gtt/ ml and the time period is 2 hour,

By inserting them in IV calculation formula, it would be

270 x 10 / 2 x 60 = 22.5 ml
