Answer #1

a. 1 tsp = 4.93 mL or approx 5 mL

the order for tylenol is 2 tsp every 4 hour.

so the number of mL to be given every 4 hour is:

2 x 5 = 10 mL

So, 10 mL is to be given every 4 hour.

b. as the solution of tylonol contain 120 mg/5 mL

it means 120/5 = 24 mg/mL

so for 10 mL, the amount of in mg will be calculated as:

10 x 24 = 240 mg

so 240 mg will be given.
