A healthy life is achieved only when there is a good health .For this one needs a financial security to fulfil his bread and butter and prevent major diseases. People who are in povert mainly suffer from measles, malaria,Tuberculosis, HIV,AIDS,diarrhoeal diseases,pneumonia, respiratory infection.

A professional nurse can identify the common health problems among the poor people are

• Assess the number of healthcare sector ,accessibility and the affordability to get an idea of general status
• The political, economical injustice are rooted with poverty
• Assessing the insurance status of them
• Identification of vulnerable groups like children, pregnant women,elderly population
• Identify the low income group people
• Malnutrition are common among children's of this society ,so a way to resolve this has to be identified.
• Public screening at regular interval and health educating them about the importance of health
• The nurse should be aware of the special supplemental nutrition programme available for children, women and infants
• The incidence and prevalence if any disease has to be first sorted out
• Identify public perceptions on  diseases and management
• Assess for any severity or disabilities among the people.
