Answer #1

The serious ethical dilemma faced by the nurse is decision making in emergency situations based on triage . According to triage , patients who are more sick are cared first . For example - two patients one a young boy and second a elder uncle came simultaneously . Both are sick , but according to traige , emergency services to the young boy is provided first because in emergency services are provided to those whose chances of survival is more because spending time and usuage of resources on a patient whose outcome is poor is a wastage. The nurse is having ethical delimma regarding justice and equal treatment that has to be maintained while providing care to all the patients .

1. The type of person , the ethical issue was concerning is Patient.

2. Ethical principle that has been violated is justice .

3. The issue is resolved by complete satisfaction by understanding the traige system .
