b)Average yearly growth from 2010 to 2015 will be

percentage of college freshman in 2010 is 48 approximately

percentage of college freshman in 2015 is 58 approximately

increased Difference in percentage over 5 years is 11.5

averaged yearly growth will be 10/5=2

c)Estimated percentage in 2012 will be

because average yearly growth from 2010 to 2015 is two

so estimated percentage of college in 2012 will be 48+2+2=52

d)Actual percentage in 2012 was 49.5

but estimated percentage in 2012 is 2.5 more than actual

it means rate of growth varied exponentially from 2010 to 2015
