what is the stress of a caregiver and elder abuse from an evidence-based perspective.
According to me there should not be any stress to the caregiver of aged people because what they are doing is just their duty , the care of there parents in the older age when they are not able to take care of themselves . Its same as when the child is small parents look after them ,same way children has to take care or simply we can say it's the responsibility of children's to take care of their parents. Elders might have many different health issues which has to be taken care as per the requirement ,it causes stress to both the caregiver and patient ,but the stress should be related to the disease not related to the responsibility of taking care ( providing basic care etc) of the elder patients.
When children / caregiver are not able to take care or does not like to take care their parents they start abusing them to get rid of them . It causes an in-depth pain to the elders and they undergo stress which ends up in depression and health issues.
