10. The total number of spheres within the unit cell =

3 + (1/2)×2 + (1/6)×6×2 = 6

11. The volume of spheres in unit cell = (4π/3)r3 (3+3) = 8πr3

12. Coordination of a sphere in a close-packed structure = 12

It follows ABC kind of packing

where B layers are kept over the voids of the A layer

Thus the middle atom of the A layer is surrounded by 6 adjacent atoms

3 atoms from the top & bottom layer each.
