10) Calculation of volume(ml) of drug required.

          Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D)/Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q).

    Here

       Desired dose(D) = 400 mg.

       Dose in hand(H) = 200 mg.

            Quantity(Q) = 5 ml

As per above formula

     Volume(ml) of drug required = D/H * Q

                                                   = 400/200 * 5

                                                   = 2 * 5

                                                   = 10 ml.

11) Calculation of volume(ml) of drug required.

           Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D)/Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q).

       Here

            Desired dose(D) = 240 mg (0.24g).

            Dose in hand(H) = 80 mg.

                  Quantity(Q) = 15 ml.

As per above formula

       Volume(ml) of drug required = D/H * Q

                                                     = 240/80 * 15

                                                     = 3 * 15

                                                     = 45 ml.

12) Calculation of volume(ml) of drug required.

             Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D)/Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q)

        Here

              Desired dose(D) = 750 mg.

              Dose in hand(H) = 500 mg.

                     Quantity(Q) = 5 ml.

As per above formula

       Volume(ml) of drug required = D/H * Q

                                                     = 750/500 * 5

                                                     = 1.5 * 5

                                                     = 7.5 ml.

              Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D)/Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q).

            Desire dose(D) = 100 mg.

            Dose in hand(H) = 50 ml.

                 Quantity(Q) = 5 ml

As per above formula

       Volume(ml) of drug required = D/H *Q

                                                      = 100/50 * 5

                                                      = 2 * 50

                                                      = 100 ml.

                     Quantity(Q) = 5 ml

As per above formula

        Volume(ml) of drug required = D/H * Q

                                                       = 20/40 * 5

                                                       = 0.5 * 5

                                                       = 2.5 ml.

15) Calculation of volume of drug required.

             Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D)/Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q).

        Here

            Desired dose(D) = 0.25 mg.

    Convert mg to mcg

              1 mg = 1000 mcg.

      So

           Desired dose(D) = 0.25 * 1000

                                       = 250 mcg.

           Dose in hand(H) = 50 mcg.

                   Quantity(Q) = 1 ml.

As per above formula

      Volume(ml) of the drug required = D/H * Q

                                                          = 250/50 * 1

                                                          = 5 * 1

                                                          = 5 ml.

           Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D)/Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q).

      Here

         Desired dose(D) = 600 mg (0.6g).

         Dose in hand(H) = 100 mg.

               Quantity(Q) = 5 ml.

As per above formula

      Volume(ml) of drug required = D/H * Q

                                                    = 600/100 * 5

                                                    = 6 * 5

                                                     = 30 ml.

     So

   fl oz (Fluid ounce)of drug required = 30/30

17) Calculation of t(teaspoon) of drug required.

      Here

            Dose in hand(H) = 250 mg.

                  Quantity(Q) = 5 ml.

As per above formula

         Volume(ml) of the drug required = D/H * Q

                                                             = 375/250 * 5

                                                             = 1.5 * 5

                                                             = 7.5 ml.

                      1 teaspoon = 5 ml

      So

       Teaspoon(t) of drug required = 7.5/5

                                                       = 1.5 teaspoon.

18) Calculation of fl oz of drug required.

            Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D)/Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q).

       Here

           Desired dose(D) = 20 g.

           Dose in hand(H) = 10 g.

               Quantity(Q) = 15 ml

As per above formula

        Volume(ml) of drug required = 20/10 * 15

                                                      = 2 * 15

                                                      = 30 ml.

                  1 fl oz = 30 ml.

    So

         fl oz of drug required = 30/30

                                           = 1 fl oz.

19) Calculation of volume(ml) of drug required.
