Answer #1

Nursing is a profession that bring about the science and art together with skill to bring about thr necessary outcome from a patient. Information / data is knowledge. NURSING includes application of scientific knowledge to the processes of diagnosis and treatment by critical thinking, care and therby promoting health and healing.

NIC ( nursing Interention classification) identifies the treatment a nurse perform, organize the information and provides the information to communicate with individuals, families , communities , members of other disciplines, and general public.

As a nurse document her work in NIC , the impact of nursing care on patient outcome will be determined. So based on each nursing diagnosis the gets the respective intervention and expected outcome for each nursing care .ao it helps to ease up the critical thinking process involved in patient care and it identifies the workload of a nursing team

The disadvantages of NIC is lack of standardized nursing language by nurses , secondly it affect the critical thinking skill of a nurse

The staff who still use the traditional way of practice , and those  who are not updated with standardised medical terminologies and who sticks on to critical thinking and care for the patient.so those who doesnot have a sound knowledge on system may step back from this technological advancement of patient care.
