• Accessible patient data

Through informatics,complete evidence of patient's data will be available at a stretch,which promote continuity in care.It also follow,examine and record the patient outcomes which will be accessible to all health care providers who are in palliative care.It also reduces the burden of different patient review within a specific time period.

• Virtual visit

With the help of informatics,palliative patients in hospital will be related to their loved ones who are far away and not able to visit them.It plays a vital role in promoting the wellness of the patient by reducing the feeling of loneliness and depression.This in turn has reduced their pain score as per the studies.Family members will also be less anxious if they are able to see the patient.

• Mobile devices in decision making

  Mobile devices are also found beneficial in palliative care setting.It promotes decision making with the patient instead of a receiver of instructions at all times.It is widely used in pallliative cancer care.
