Recently, Starbucks has tried to create a lively, friendly, and enthusiastic environment of workers or employees. The concept behind it is that employees need to be trained, highly valued, financially rewarded and motivated in order to do their best in a manner that would please and satisfy the customers and make customers loyal to the Starbucks.

According to the equity theory, workers and employees should feel as they are working in a lively, friendly, and safe environment where their efforts are required without a sense the status in the workplace. Starbucks tried to reduce the gap status gap between the manager and employees by calling employees partners. managers and employees also wear the same dress in the workplace in order to stop any distinction.

Starbucks is also trying to motivate employees extensively and increasingly. Employees are trained to do multiple jobs and their efforts are reward according to their performance.
