Therapeutic use of Verapamil includes Cardiac dysrhythmias.

It belongs to the class of drugs called calcium channel blocker. Verapamil restores normal heart rhythms by relaxing the cardiac muscle and blood vessels. It also used for Hypertension.

Its contraindication includes Sick sinus syndrome and Hypotension. Verapamil does not deal with Increased blood volume.
