1-Provide the most critical information about smoking that you need to disseminate to the population at risk (young men between the age of 15-25)

Teen smoking might begin innocently, but it can become a long-term problem. In fact, most adult smokers begin smoking as teenagers.

To enable your teenager to abstain from taking that first puff, pursue these tips.

1. Set a genuine example

High schooler smoking is more typical among youngsters whose guardians smoke. In the event that you smoke, quit. The prior you quit smoking, the more uncertain your youngster is to end up a smoker. Get some information about approaches to quit smoking.

Meanwhile, don't smoke in the house, in the vehicle or before your adolescent, and don't leave cigarettes where your youngster may discover them. Disclose to your adolescent how despondent you are with your smoking, that it is so hard to stop and that you'll continue attempting until the point when you quit smoking for good.

2. Understand the attraction

Teen smoking can be a form of rebellion or a way to fit in with a particular group of friends. Some teens begin smoking to control their weight. Others smoke to feel cool or independent.

Ask your youngster how he or she feels about smoking and if any of your adolescent's companions smoke. Praise your high schooler's great decisions, and discussion about the outcomes of terrible decisions. You may likewise chat with your high schooler about how tobacco organizations attempt to impact thoughts regarding smoking —, for example, through commercials or item position in motion pictures that make the recognition that smoking is exciting and more predominant than it truly is.

3. Say no to teen smoking

You might feel as if your teen doesn't hear a word you say, but say it anyway. Tell your teen that smoking isn't allowed. Your disapproval will have more impact than you think. Teens whose parents set the firmest smoking restrictions tend to smoke less than do teens whose parents don't set smoking limits. The same goes for teens who feel close to their parents.

4. Claim to your youngster's vanity

Remind your adolescent that smoking is filthy and malodorous. Smoking gives you awful breath and wrinkles. Smoking makes your garments, breath and hair smell, and it turns your teeth yellow. Smoking can abandon you with a ceaseless hack and less vitality for games and other fun exercises.

5. Crunch the numbers

Smoking is costly. Help your youngster ascertain the week after week, month to month or yearly expense of smoking a pack multi day. You may contrast the expense of smoking and that of electronic gadgets, garments or other high schooler basics.

6. Expect peer weight

Give your adolescent the apparatuses he or she needs to reject cigarettes. Practice how to deal with intense social circumstances. It may be as straightforward as saying, "No way. I don't smoke."
