Answer #1

#. The main issue in this case is that Jack and his wife is not able to do exercise in their daily busy schedule and also they eat most of the time from restaurants which is agian an unhealthy behaviour . All this affects their health badly because of which Jack has type 1 diabetes mellitus , hypertension and obesity .

The hurdles that needs to be overcomed for Jack to adopt a more healthy lifestyle are :-

- eating from resturant

- no time for exercise

- busy schedule ,no time for themselves

As a nurse i would first explain both of them about their present life situations and how it affects their health . Once they are gown through the present scenario ,will explain about the importance of health because without health you can't do anything . The main thing why you are running a busy schedule and working is money but when you are not able to work then you can't make money .

Will share some of the health tips to modify their busy schedule such as :-

- wake up early in the morning by 5am

- go for a walk for 20-30min

- do the morning activities ,get freshed up

- have to breakfast and pack lunch

- don't eat from outside

- try to walk while you go for work for small distance

- have plenty of fluids

- get back home by time

- spend time with your family

- have dinner ,keep it light

- sleep early

- take the medications as prescribed

All this can be done only when you have self motivation to change otherwise it won't be fruitful .
